2018 Oscar Glamour Pics

The Oscars have always been an event at my house. All the excitement and anticipation had less to do with film and actors and more to do with the fashion, hair and accessories. Ever since I was a little girl, I looked forward to a night of glamour. My mom and I would give our critiques of the gowns, shoes, jewels, makeup and hair as the actors walked down the red carpet or up to receive their Oscar.

Things have not changed all that much, except now my couch mate is my hubby and we provide our opinions over a glass of wine. With a teleconference with my mom the following day with a recap of the best dressed of the night.

I must admit, this Oscar season I am not as blown away by the looks as I have been by previous years. The Golden Globes saw the attendees donning black gowns and tuxes in solidarity led by the Time's Up organization and I have to admit that I was more impressed with the looks during that event, despite the lack of colour.

If I am to choose the best dressed I would say the following stars did not disappoint and brought the necessary glam to one of the most glamorous nights.
